MARAUDING BLUEFISH DON'T HAVE A YELLOW STREAK

Abstract (Document Summary)

A good plan of attack for anglers to follow now would be to locate a spot with a good view of the water. Piers, jetties and boats drifting in about 80 feet of water would be good vantage points. With the aid of a pair of field glasses (or the telephoto lens of a camera) scan as much of the water as possible. Signs to look for are birds wheeling and diving at the surface, baitfish jumping and fleeing in terror or actual bluefish breaking the surface. The birds will be feeding on the remains of baitfish recently attacked by blues.
