[NATIONAL Edition]

Massachusetts remained under a state of emergency on Wednesday with thousands of residents still without power and frustrated travelers stranded at Boston's Logan International Airport, as temperatures climbed into the 50s under a clear, blue sky. One day after the record-breaking storm struck, burying the region in up to 3 feet of snow, area hospitals began reporting weather-related injuries including back sprains and hand injuries from snowblowers.
