[June] Wiles, who operates the Holistic Health Clinic at 5025 E Fowler Ave. in Tampa, believes that the bright colors of the iris can tell her everything that ails you.
On Saturday, the Board of Medicine revoked Wiles' nutritionist license, calling her a grave danger to the public health. The board also asked the Department of Professional Regulation (DPR) to investigate whether she should lose her massage therapy license, as well.
The eye diagnosis is called iridology, after the iris of the eye. The board was just as upset about Wiles' use of colonic irrigation - an internal wash with a high-powered enema machine - but didn't have the legal right to prohibit that. The massage therapy board governs the colon-cleansing treatment.
