Abstract (Document Summary)

"The Peer Support Program has grown to have 300 people in it," [Eddie Dees] said. "I've been in it since January."

"He's fixed a lot of my computers," said [Thomas Cowan]. "He's definitely good at fixing computers. I had a laptop and tried everything, but it died. I brought it in and it works better. It's faster than originally."

Eddie was 4 when he started fiddling with computers, beginning with an old one his mother brought home that plugged into his television. By age 14 he owned one, but he said it was old and he was always fixing it. "And well," he said, "that's how I got good at it."
