The signal on 1490 AM will cease sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. today, because the station's former tower on the Notre Dame campus is coming down to make way for the university's new hockey arena, the radio station announced.

Shareholders at Bank of America's annual meeting Wednesday voted to re-elect the bank's entire 18-member board including [Ken Lewis], according to company spokesman James Mahoney, although final vote totals have not been made official by the bank.

The bank's annual meeting was the angry affair that most people expected, and shareholders' ire only increased when the company delayed the release of the shareholder votes. The company said it was aiming to release the vote totals later Wednesday, but the announcement was met by boos and some in the audience of more than 2,000 got up to leave although the meeting was continuing.
