"To create opportunities for growth and new jobs, you have to have the tools in place to do it, and this is one of those tools," [Todd Galloway] said. "I also have two daughters away at college. If I want them to be able to come back here and find jobs after they graduate, we have to create those jobs."

"There is no way in the world we could have done this without Major Moves," [Mitch Daniels] told reporters after the ceremony. "Look around. A lot of our sister states are cutting back on (transportation projects) when they need them the most."

"I think if we are proactive, and focus on how to make Lakeville a destination, we can really get something going here," he said. "We get 27,000 cars per day through town, but how many of them stop?"
