Newcomer Kellyanne Farquhar, who played Amy in the BBC Scotland series Monarch of the Glen, heads the nominations list in the Best First-time performance category in the Scottish Bafta awards.

BBC comedy series Still Game starring Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill as grumpy old codgers Jack and Victor also picked up a nomination in the entertainment category. They will go head to head with new Channel 4 series Meet the Magoons which is set in a Glasgow curry house and written by former BBC Scotland production trainee Hardeep Singh Kohli.
