Bahar Ali, of Maryhill, was jailed for five years and Stephen Singh, of Govanhill, for four for raping [Kim Shannon] after they spiked her drink.

"Perhaps there would not be a need for such a kit if date-rape drugs were less easy to come by. While this kit may help in the short term, it won't stop men from raping women."
