HARI was born in San Francisco and, after leaving drama school, joined the cast of Holby City as Dr Sunil Gupta. He also starred in Trial And Retribution IV, Charmed, Medium and Without A Trace. He lives in London, and has returned to Holby City as surgeon Michael Spence.

Computers. I have just bought a new iMac, which I love. My girlfriend Lara once said: 'I didn't realise I was going to be in a relationship with you and your computer.' It's my way of communicating with the rest of the world.

I don't think I know anyone famous. I have friends who work in television and all that kind of stuff, but I don't know any A-list stars.
