If you want a flavorful glaze for baking turkey or pork roast, mix one can whole berry sauce with a dollop of horseradish, 1/4 cup dry sherry and 1/2 jar of apricot preserves -- talk about good! HERB ROASTED TURKEY 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened, divided 1/2 cup chopped green onion tops 2 Tbsps. chopped fresh sage Sea salt, to taste Pepper, to taste 1 (14-16 lb.) fresh turkey Giblets 2 cups chicken broth To make herb butter, blend together 1 stick butter, green onions and sage; set aside.
