Dan Bittman, superintendent of Sauk Rapids-Rice school district, said Tuesday Yasin Hussein was a sophomore who had been at the high school for about two weeks following a transfer from Tech High School in St. Cloud. "Since yesterday afternoon, we have been working collaboratively with Minnesota State Patrol, our local police and fire departments, and area school districts," Bittman wrote in a note to parents.
