Schwarzenegger campaigns for Bush | Governor says he was reluctant to make trip
[1,2,6,7 Edition]
The San Diego Union - Tribune

San Diego, Calif.
"President Bush knows you can't reason with people that are blinded by hate," [Arnold Schwarzenegger] told more than 15,000 boisterous Bush supporters at Nationwide Arena here. "But let me tell you something: Their hate is no match for our decency, their hate is no match for America's decency, and it is no match for the leadership and the resolve of George W. Bush." Schwarzenegger often calls Columbus his "second home" and it is the only place outside California where he would agree to campaign for Bush. 1 PIC; California Gov.
