Due to rapidly changing weather conditions in the Sierra and Northern Nevada, anglers are urged to call ahead to the sources listed at the end of each area description for reports on the latest road and water conditions. Nymphing with Baetis and Midge patterns with 5x or 6x tippet is the way to go if there are no rising fish. The incoming tide has been the top producer for trollers running the new Angry Eye lures.
