Note that [Sara Jane Olson]'s parti-cipation in terrorist activites was not confined to the single incident to which she pleaded guilty. In its brief, violent tenure, the Symbionese Li-beration Army was responsible for the murder of the Oakland school superintendent Marcus Foster, and the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst. Moreover, Mrs. Olson was directly connected to the robbery of a savings and loan in Carmichael, Calif., in which a customer, Myrna Opsahl, a 42-year-old mother of four, was shot and killed.
