A limited number of tickets are available, and may be purchased at Lincoln Town Hall, Old River Road. Tickets are $25, and include a preview of the decorated house, live music, and champagne and hors d'oeuvres. A special feature of the evening will be a book signing by Lincoln resident, Paul E. Rivard, author of The New Order of Things: How the Textile Industry Transformed New England. For more information, call 727-8151. American Legion, Fairlawn Post 42 announced that the following new members have joined the unit: William Clabby, William Cobb, Willis Cofield, Joseph Coite, Max Galmarga, Bernard Gauthier, Ross Haynes, Norman Knight, Emile Laroche, William Lund, Robert McGill, Windell McRae, Hector Moreau, Ralph Paradiso, Wallace Sanville, and John Vitale. The post participated in many activities recently including flag-raising ceremonies honoring the Marine Corps, the Veterans Day tribute at the State House, the dedication of the Women Veterans Memorial at Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, and forums conducted by Rep. Patrick Kennedy. Kristen Luneberg, a 1999 graduate of Lincoln High School, was crowned Miss North Carolina. Kristen will represent North Carolina in the Miss USA Pageant in March. Kristen is a senior public policy major at Duke University, a sorority president, and chief executive officer of Devils Delivery Service, a student-owned and operated corporation at Duke.
