He's down to earth, said Leah Rand of White Plains, a former Poughkeepsie resident whose maiden name is Pribish and who was first exposed to Frampton as a kid, by an older sister whose friend had a copy of Frampton Comes Alive. Playing to home crowd Tonight's show at the band shell represents a homecoming of sorts for Frampton -- whose latest album, a collection of instrumentals called "Fingerprints," comes out Sept. 12 -- and his bass player, John Regan.
