Laurence St. John, a 1983 Genoa High School graduate, is the author of the young adult novel "Metatron: The Angel Has Risen." Novelist Jeff Rivera, who eventually called "Metatron" a brilliant first novel, helped St. John write a query letter to be sent to publishers and offered advice on the first draft.
