The founder of the Jet Express ferry company and owner of some of South Bass Island's most popular family attractions died of cancer Friday.Charles "Skip" Duggan was 66. From donating antique island items to the Lake Erie Islands Historical Museum to helping finance business ventures, Duggan did whatever he could to better the island, said Blumensaadt and Maggie Beckford, a family friend and Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce director.
