[JULIE HARRIS] said she joined the cast of Knots Landing at the urging of her agent, Ed Bondy, who has since died. She plays Lilimae Clements, the meddling mother of Valene Ewing (Joan Van Ark) and Joshua Rush (Alec Baldwin).
