CARTOON 'RENAISSANCE' IS UNDERWAY
[3 Star Edition]
Orlando Sentinel
-
Orlando, Fla.
[Terry Thoren] predicts there will be more animation in movie theaters and on television (not just Saturday mornings), thanks largely to Disney. Even after Roger Rabbit's big splash last summer, the industry saw two animated films doing well at Christmas competing head to head. Disney's Oliver & Company debuted simultaneously with Don Bluth and Steven Spielberg's Land Before Time, and audiences for both were strong. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. Further reproduction or distribution is prohibited without permission.
