Question: I recently got a job offer that is several rungs up the corporate ladder from my current job. I will be taking up the new position in three weeks. I plan to upgrade my wardrobe before starting my new job but am unsure about sizes. I have gained about 15 unwanted pounds during the past few years and have just started a serious diet-and-exercise plan to lose the weight before I enter my new position. I'm currently a size 14. What size clothing should I be buying so it will fit right when I start my new job? Answer: I don't doubt your good intentions. Perhaps you will lose 15 pounds in three weeks -- and keep it off. But that's a lot to lose in a short time. Reproduced with permission of the copyright owner. Further reproduction or distribution is prohibited without permission.
