'GOOD DAY' FOR RYAN'S RETURN
New York Post
-
New York, N.Y.
[JIM Ryan], 61, underwent a triple-bypass on May 17. He looked slightly thinner yesterday but was otherwise chipper as he was greeted by the Emerald Society, a bagpipe corps comprised of employees from the New York City Dept. of Sanitation. Jim Ryan's return to "Good Day New York" yesterday was celebrated with bagpipes and lots of confetti. Ryan had been off the air since mid-May after undergoing triple-bypass heart surgery.
