ESPN Radio producer John Martin said it would be a gametime decision on whether play-by-play man Jon Miller would start Game 4 last night. Miller called only the top of the first inning in Game 3 before bowing out due to an upper respiratory infection. Charlie Steiner, who has been interviewing players and coaches for ESPN at the Series, pinch-hit and was ready to sub again for Miller if necessary. As of 3 p.m. yesterday, Miller was still under the weather, Martin said ... Chris Berman, on site at Shea, will tape his NFL Week 9 "Swami" segment from the upper deck seats where he and his dad, Jim, sat when the Jets called Flushing Meadows home. Berman said he hadn't been up to the seats in 17 years.
