As should be evident, oddities abound on "Human Target." Perhaps the strangest aspect is that the actor playing [Christopher Chance]'s client (Scott Paulin tomorrow, Lee Ermey Saturday) winds up grabbing more screen time than Springfield. After all, if Chance didn't look and sound exactly like the guy he was impersonating, he couldn't lure the baddies to destruction. Fortunately for Springfield, it appears there will come a point on every episode at which Chance has no choice but to peel off his mask and explain the ruse to the client's confused loved ones or co-workers. "Mommy, what happened to Daddy's face?" cries one of the architect's children when Chance is unmasked in a struggle with a home-invading hit man.
