Alexis is interested to hear what Bill Clinton has to say about the environment when she travels here with her mother [Margo Dinniman] on Tuesday for the Democratic National Convention. They will meet up in New York with her father, Andrew Dinniman, who is coming to the city today.

Alexis still has a 13-year-old's ambivalence about politics. "I'm not really interested in politics - but it's sort of interesting at the same time," she said, giggling.
