Long Island will send 28 students to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, to be held May 2-8 in Philadelphia.
Individual finalists and their school districts include: Trevor Bass, Bryan Laulicht, Eric Stern and Alexander Wissner-Gross, Great Neck; Lauren Gold, Alexandra Herzlich, Caroline Seo and Zahir Zaveri, Port Washington; Vivek Singh and Ian Yohai, Syosset; Kerry Geiler, Massapequa; Yoni Hertz, Half Hollow Hills; Jonathan Hoffman, Harborfields; Michael Metzger, East Williston.
Team finalists include: Jon Calluzzo/Edward Kim, Katie Cook/ Adam Hess, Demetris Kofinas/Vincent Napolitano, all from Manhasset; Manvir Kalsi/Ramji Srinivasan, Melissa Eliot/Shari Morris, Plainview-Old Bethpage; James Lee/Matthew White, Roslyn; Craig Berman/Reed Mauser, Three Village.
