Robert P. Zimmerman is partner and founder. Zimmerman has a background in government and community service. He was appointed by President Bill Clinton to serve on the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Presidential Commission on the Arts. Zimmerman has also served as deputy executive assistant to former Democratic Rep. Lester Wolff of Great Neck from 1977 to 1980 and was a special assistant to the speaker of the New York State Assembly for Long Island community affairs. He served on the New York State Commission on Open Government from 1990 to 1996 and is a member of the Long Island Economic Development Council. Zimmerman has worked on legislation on the state and federal level on behalf of environmental protection, the preservation of Long Island Sound, senior citizens, Vietnam veterans and education. Zimmerman's past involvement with local organizations includes serving as a board member of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Long Island Association for Commerce and Industry. He was also president of the American Jewish Congress, Long Island region, from 1990 to 1994. Zimmerman received a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University and a master's in business administration from Fordham University.
Ronald Martin Edelson, partner and founder, has been involved in marketing, promotion and public relations for more than 25 years. His background includes work with manufacturers, financial industry clients, municipalities, not-for-profit organizations and multinational corporations. Edelson previously served as senior vice president of marketing for New Jersey-based Global Motors Inc., an American importer of the Bertone and Pinifarina Italian sports cars and Yugos. While there, he supervised and set policy direction for marketing, public relations and advertising. He also served as senior vice president of MGA Advertising in Westbury. Edelson is executive director of the Great Neck Plaza Management Council.
