Classic is a word that you don't want to throw around too much in the nouveau world of CD-ROM. A game's instant popularity doesn't necessarily classify it as another "Myst."
Virgin's "The 7th Guest" is a confirmed classic, which is OK, because the program is approaching CD-ROM old age. Released in 1993, the game has won most awards that computer games can win and its sequel, "The 11th Hour," is scheduled to appear in March.
