Port Washington produced three student winners in last week's Long Island Science and Engineering Fair - only the second time a district has done this in the fair's 12-year history.
Other winners, their districts and topics: Melissa Chak, Bellmore-Merrick, zoology; David Posner, Half Hollow Hills, health sciences; Eric Antman, Syosset, environmental science; Alexander Wissner-Gross, Great Neck, computer science, and Davesh Maulik, Roslyn, mathematics.
Fair officials also have named two winning teams from the Three Village district and two other winning teams from Roslyn and Shoreham-Wading River.
