Q. Where and when did you get your big break? A. Actually, [Rosie O'Neill] would be it. I did a TV show before this called the "Ann Jillian Show," and I had one of the leads. Not too many people recognized me from that. Now I have a small part in Rosie O'Neill and everyone recognizes me. Q. Describe your character. A. She is moody, funky and cool. Q. Does she remind you of yourself? A. [Kim] has a lot of my characteristics. We have the same snazzy attitudes. Q. Did you fantasize when you were younger that you would become an actress? A. All the time. When I was 4, I used to pretend I was a ballerina with my sister. I wanted nothing more than to be on Broadway. I always want to act and maybe someday get into directing. Q. How do you feel about working with somebody like [Sharon Gless]? A. She is wonderful. She is a lot of fun. I was intimidated at first because she has won awards on top of awards. She treats everyone like they are her family, so I was really grateful. Q. Who did you look up to when growing up? A. My mom. She was a single parent. She did a wonderful job with my sister, Carla, and me. She is very, very proud of me. Other than that, Robert DeNiro. Q. What is your favorite episode? A. It was one I wasn't in, actually.
