Licking County Common Pleas Court Judge Thomas Marcelain suspended Bentley's driver's license for three years and ordered him to complete 50 hours of community service, be placed on house arrest and pay all court costs, fees and a $500 fine. Between Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, Hall and a co-defendant broke into seven parked vehicles to steal clothes, CDs, Walkmans, cell phones, GPS units and other items, according to court records. Steven A. Taylor-Smith, 19, 3909 N. Kimberly Parkway, Columbus, was sentenced to five years in prison after he was found guilty of one count each of grand theft, a fourth-degree felony; improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony; fleeing, a third-degree felony; and tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony with a firearm specification.
