The Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation, in its Seafood Watch report on farmed trout, points out that the effect of trout farms on wild trout populations is minimal and has recommended trout as a "Best Choice." Since it is becoming increasingly obvious that fish farms are the way of the future, it's good to know that it's possible to have a fish feast and still be politically correct.
