Inside the home, visitors will find a wood-burning cast iron stove, still in working order; the original pump for the kitchen sink; a pie safe, used to keep flies and children away from the freshly baked goods, and a collection of oil lamps, which were fueled by either kerosene, whale oil or animal fat.
