[Final Edition]

Cobourg, Ont.
Acceding to the wishes of Cramahe Council, municipal Chief Administration Officer (CAO) Merlin Dewing has responded to issues raised last month by Parks and Recreation Chair Sandra Arthur. At council December 17, Mrs. Arthur related her concerns about events of the previous five months initially sparked at an August meeting of the Parks and Recreation Committee where the CAO attempted to clarify the committee's function. Mr. Dewing referred to the Hood-Collins Report commissioned by Cramahe Councillor Mike Johnston on behalf of the committee and accepted by council August 27. One of Mrs. Arthur's concerns centres on the need for information on operational activities to determine if procedures are being followed. Mrs. Arthur listed her budgetary concerns. The committee has received no Keeler Centre financial information since August, noting some Cramahe councillors have also asked for the same information.
