Hamilton man, 23, killed by VIA train in Burlington

The pedestrian approached from the south side of the tracks and crossed two sets of rails before entering into the path of the westbound VIA train, which was carrying more than 180 passengers and crew. Train tracks in the area were closed for approximately two hours while police examined the scene. Halton police's Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating.
