Musical headliners have been canceling right and left, including Sheryl Crow, who jumped ship just a few days before she was scheduled to perform. Musikfest handled it clumsily, too, by delaying the announcement and claiming it would require fans within 30 miles to come to Musikfest personally to apply for refunds.

12:05. Spanakopita at Bull & Bear Restaurant, Volksplatz. That's spinach pie, for you non-Greeks. It tasted fine, but it was almost impossible to get at it with my plastic fork. I finally ripped it apart with my teeth, like a dog. Cha-CHING. Seven tickets, or $3.50.

3:55. Pumpkin funnel cake with glazed icing, Bricker's French Fries, Handwerkplatz. Eating funnel cake made from an actual farm crop makes me feel healthier. Hear that, arteries? Cha-CHING. Eight tickets, or $4.
