Technoplatz was the brainchild of Steve Rockman, the director of Multimedia Technology for PC Information Center in Allentown. He said it came to him in a dream.

Another aspect of Technoplatz will be the situating of five informational computer kiosks around the region, which at a finger's touch will display such info as program schedules, shuttle routes and times, even places to shop and eat in the area. The touch-screen kiosks will also offer 10-second music recordings of the event performers, so people can choose which concerts they wish to attend.

He said he did not feel Technoplatz was too business-oriented for Musikfest.
