KLINGERMAN, AYLSWORTH GO OUT CHAMPS
[THIRD Edition]
Morning Call
-
Allentown, Pa.
"Unbelievable," offered Lehigh wide receiver Brian Klingerman, as he won the game, not single-handedly, but with a single-hand touchdown grab of a 14-yard aerial from Bob Aylsworth in the back of the end zone for the deciding score. Klingerman pulled in 10 passes for 118 yards and three touchdowns as the Engineers rallied not only for the win, but the outright Patriot League title for the second time in three years. "It was a run play in the huddle, and Brian said `Don't forget about 67, which is a pass,'" explained Lehigh quarterback Bob Aylsworth, who like Klingerman, closed out his career on a winning and championship notes.
