Once a general contractor is brought on board, "We're going to have multiple meetings with them, walk them through it, and say, 'Let's get as much done in 60 days as we can.'" The general contractor would be responsible for the entire middle school renovation project, which currently is scheduled to take part in three phases over multiple years, and would subcontract out portions of the project to other firms.
