Abstract (Document Summary)

NEW YORK, June 16.--An agreement determining the status and disposition of Mexico's external debt of $500,000,000, and of intrest in default since 1919, amounting to $200,000,000, was signed at 6 o'clock tonight by Minister of Finance Adolfo De la Huerta, on behalf of Mexico, and by Thomas W. Lamont for the international committee of bankers representing the security holdings.
