BUTTE (Mont.) Feb. 15.--Despite all the work which has been done during the past few weeks

ball team in the Northwestern League, conditions were more uncertain today than since the movement started. In fact, Joe McGinnity, who returned from Great Falls last night for the express purpose of signing up with the officials of the Butte Baseball and Athletic Association, became so disgusted that he left today for his home at Tacoma.
