One perfectly good City League football championship will be fought over by Los Angeles High and Polytechnic elevens this afternoon at the Coliseum and a crowd numbering in the near vicinity of 50,000 is expected to be on hand to watch the titular battle. The Mechanics and Romans are ancient rivals and always fight each other like a pair of unfriendly tigers, but with a championship hinging on the outcome of their game, this afternoon's should be something worth writing home about.
