Abstract (Document Summary)

Young pianist Yoni Fachi solos Mozart's popular piano concerto No. 23, K 488. Noam Sheriff conducts the Israel Chamber Orchestra and five other soloists in the final concert of this season's Orchestra and Soloist series: cellist Emanuel Gruber, violinists Eliahu Shulman and David Braude, oboist Omri Raveh, and bassoonist Susanna Cohen. Three works of Vivaldi - Concerto for Cello, Concerto for Two Violins, and Concerto for Oboe and Bassoon - and the overture to Strauss' Die Fiedermaus will also be played.
