A policeman and two civilians were killed and dozens wounded when a Palestinian terrorist armed with an M-16 rifle, hand grenades, and a knife attacked revellers at the Sea Market restaurant-nightclub in the heart of Tel Aviv early yesterday morning.

Tel Aviv police chief Cmdr. Yossi Sedbon said maximum security measures were in force throughout the region amid warnings of pending terrorist attacks.
