Abstract (Document Summary)

Clashes between soldiers and Palestinians occurred near the village of Kalil in Samaria where Palestinians say 24-year-old Hassan Abdel Khak was killed and seven people injured. The IDF said Palestinians threw stones and firebombs at soldiers who responded with teargas and rubber bullets. Other clashes took place at the Ayosh Junction where scores of Palestinians clashed with soldiers and also in Shallalah street in Hebron. Yesterday morning an IDF undercover unit shot and killed one Palestinian policeman and injured two others. The Palestinian was identified as Fuaz Admaz of Jenin. The Palestinians say that soldiers in civilian cars shot at Admaz and wounded another two people. The IDF Spokesman said two armed Palestinian Policemen approached soldiers operating in Silat Al Kharbatiya, in Area B. The soldiers threw a grenade at them and at the same time a third Palestinian policeman opened fire. The soldiers shot back and hit the three.
