According to A through F ratings released Wednesday, 12 Tippecanoe County schools saw an increase of at least one letter grade. Sunnyside Middle School jumped two grades, from a D to a B. * In Tippecanoe School Corp., six schools showed growth, including Southwestern Middle School, which jumped up two grades to a B. * In West Lafayette Community School Corp., all three schools retained their A ratings. * As for area private schools, Faith Christian School and St. Boniface both dropped one grade, with Faith moving to a B and St. Boniface a C. Lafayette Christian School and all other Lafayette Catholic Schools retained their previous year's ranking.
