A picture of Slocum and Parsons dancing appeared on the Journal's front page along with their personal accounts reflecting on the preparation that went into prom night. Since those proms, Parsons attended Tompkins Cortland Community College for two years and then transferred to the same college as Slocum at the State University College at Brockport.
