With the help of Maria Connell, reading specialist and Student Council adviser, this group of dedicated 10- and 11-year-olds quickly drew together a plan for a bake sale to raise money for relief efforts. Endo is a part of Cornell's Japan-United States Association, a student organization that raises awareness of Japanese culture and appreciation of the future and history of Japan and U.S. relations.
