Google is starting to annoy the author. Google Instant, which attempts to guess what he wants and starts feeding him search results even before he finishes typing, makes him feel like he's watching hypercaffeinated hamsters. Then he ran into Yahoo! Correlator. This is part of Yahoo!'s Sandbox area where Yahoo! tries out new ideas. This particular demonstration is useful if you aren't quite sure what aspect of a topic you really need. The default search result includes results grouped by Wikipedia categories. The content is extracted from a number of Wikipedia articles, so the author is getting a more three-dimensional view of the topic. The Events icon displays a timeline of events, again culled from Wikipedia.
