Chassaing et al discuss how they need a solution that could help them get through questions faster and support the students who wanted to learn things on their own. Providing a unique service is the most important resource they provide in a space they called Studio located on the third floor at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Library. The studio is a unique library space under the makerspace umbrella, they focus more on digital media creation, in which the space itself consists of several workstations. They provide a solution to the problem through repurposing the old library standby: the pathfinder, which tend to fit into several types include introductory, skill-specific and comprehensive (simple subject).
